Visa Infinite & Visa Signature cardholders enjoy a complimentary upgrade to the Five Star tier of Hertz Gold Plus Rewards membership program (this privilege normally requires 12 qualifying rentals or US$2,400+ spend annually)
Member benefits for Five Star tier:
- Free one car class upgrade (subject to availability and participating locations)
- 25% bonus points
- 25% discount on child seats
- Expedited service, counter bypass and more
Redemption method:
Eligible cardholders need to register and sign up online with their Visa Infinite or Visa Signature card to enjoy free upgrade to Five Star tier of Hertz Gold Plus Rewards membership program during the offer period. Once registered, the special Visa discount programme number (CDP) will be automatically entered into their profile.

- Five Star status are available for cardholders residing in Australia and New Zealand only.
- Upgrade to Five Star status will take place within 14 days after enrolment.
- These benefits are available only to valid Visa Infinite or Visa Signature cardholders who have created a Visa benefits-enabled Gold Plus Rewards program profile.
- In all cases, a valid Visa Infinite or Visa Signature card must be registered as the form of payment in their Gold Plus Rewards membership profile.
- A valid Visa Infinite or Visa Signature card must be used for payment and presented at the rental counter.
- To receive the benefits associated with Hertz Gold Plus Rewards membership, Gold membership number must be quoted at the time of reservation.
